I have always been in love with the seasons when Petaluma is that brilliant green. I love it. I spent most of my youth crawling around in the tall, green grass in the fields surrounding my house, pretending to be some sort of an explorer.
Anytime I am home, I spend hours driving around the back roads of Petaluma just taking in my fill of the green hills. BEAUTIFUL. Most of the time I even end up at the beach to enjoy the waves as well.
Back when our chapel was being remodeled, we drove up to Sebastopol to go to church. We always took the back roads. That drive was always so beautiful, especially when the fields were full of those beautiful yellow flowers.
I can't wait to go home!

WOW! I don't think I've ever seen pictures of your hometown area... it's beautiful! I hope Jackson comes before you leave!
You don't know me but I am Haley the ex-mormon nun's husband. I just wanted say that I too love the green rolling hills of Petaluma. I went there once several years ago. I think it was February and very green. Mmmm....Petaluma Cheese. We went out to Pt. Reyes too. Very nice. And to top it all off we went to church in Petaluma.
PRETTY!!!!
Can't wait to see you again in these rolling green hills...!
And they are actually green at the moment, thanks to some short spells of rain enough to get the grass growing. We are also looking forward to having your folks home fom their mission and you coming with them to reconnect with your roots!
