Sunday morning the kids and I were leaving for church when suddenly my car was making a horrible noise. The power steering went out and the battery light came on. I parked, stole a different car and headed to church. I'd like to say that I listened during church, but I actually was sitting on the couch trying to find out what was wrong with my car. All search results said something was wrong with one of the belts...I just had those replaced!! I texted my dad and he texted back saying that it sounded like it was the serpentine belt. I decided not to focus on it until Monday. I called dad Monday morning and he said to go look in the car and see if the belt was broken. I opened the hood to find the squirrel! Stupid thing! One of the pool workers was kind enough to pull it out for me!
After a few phone calls I was able to get the car over to a shop and they replaced the belt. Expensive squirrel. Later that day, we found a gopher in the swimming pool! Good thing it didn't wreck anything!

oh my goodness...that's horrible!
What's with you and the small woodland creatures?
If you would just stop feeding them maybe they would quit coming around. I know you're lonely and all, but.......
You walked right into it.....if you're as rich as IIIIIII am you have poooooool worker
Wow! What a hard stroke of luck. My friend had something similar happen... a mouse chewed through one of her cables.. $1000 in repairs.
I saw a gopher for the first time 3 weeks ago. I had no idea they were so tiny! They always looked bigger in the movies/winnie the pooh. :)
