Life Lately
So, my parents have moved back to California. I never thought I would say this, but I really do miss my parents as my roommates. They were a lot of fun, not to mention that they are so supportive and did so much for me while they lived out in Utah. It was really nice to actually get to know them better as friends. They put up with a lot with me...like me keeping them up late at night, seeking for their attention, borrowing the truck, sharing the bathroom with me, etc etc etc. It was a lot of fun though! Despite all this, it has been quite fun to have the entire condo to myself! I do things such as use the restroom with the door open, blast music through the house while I'm getting ready in the mornings and rotate sitting on the couch and the two chairs each time I get up for something. A friend of mine told me that I'm going to have a hard time adjusting to marriage someday with all this independence! HAHA! So, here are a few pictures from life lately...
Threw my last bridal shower for a very long time.

Final Bridal Shower
Tiffany gets married on Friday! So, in line with her desires, the girls threw her a bridal shower slumber party!

This is what I got Tiff. I know, I'm not very exciting. But I figure she could use it to hit Paul over the head if ever he gets out of line!

We pretty much had more than enough balloons to play with. Lots ended up popping!

Mr. and Mrs. Peterson!
Jessica is a married lady! Friday night I drove up to Salt Lake and we all spent the night in a hotel close to the temple. We had a lot of fun goofing around and watching Mama Mia, of course! Jess and I each got about 2 hours of sleep...Saturday was a very tired day!
I was able to be reunited with both of my sidekicks! Adam drove out from California for the wedding, what a good guy! It was so fun to hang out with him and get to know his wife. We had a lot of fun being the groupies!
The reception was just beautiful!
I don't know why, but my friends like to put me in pink for their weddings. Some sort of curse I guess!

Feels Like Home
I also love being able to see my leaders from primary and YW. I was able to catch up some with one of the most amazing YW presidents I've ever had! (Meri, you know I'm talking about you!) There's also just something about going home and seeing the wonderful people who you looked up to your whole life and who have helped mold you into the person you are today.

Reunion With my Girls!
While I was home, three of my best friends from high school were also in the area. Anytime this happens, we get together. We have a tradition of going out to eat and taking a ton of pictures when we see each other! We had a blast getting caught up on everyone's lives!
Ashlee and I have known each other the longest. Our parents were in the same ward when we were both born, 7 months apart. Ash lives in Utah now, so I get to see her every once in a while, which is always such a comfort to have at least one of them close by.
Carrie's family moved into our ward when we were all about 2 years old. A little while after having her son, Noah, she moved with her family to Virginia, so it has been a while since I've seen them...actually I hadn't seen them since the day Noah was born! They are moving soon to China...so I'm planning a trip to visit them in the next year or two! I can't wait!
Rickard has been living in New York and I was able to go visit her a little over a year ago, which was so nice to have my own personal tour guide! The night after this night, Rickard and I went on our traditional late night Frosty run and drove around Petaluma, gawking at all of the changes that have occured to our little town. We even drove around until we found Pepper Nursery School, where we met when we were about 4.

Temple Square
The night before Karlie left to go back to San Diego, we took a quick trip up to see the lights at Temple Square. It was beautiful! I always love seeing the lights and walking around the temple. It was well worth the trip up there, even though we were FREEZING! I, personally, would never have the patience to put up all those lights, so I'm grateful to whoever does that! They do such a great job!
