Pizzookie Reunion!

Everytime I see these girls...mostly at their weddings, we've all said that we need to have a pizzookie night!  So finally we planned one!  We had a great time chatting and EATING.  Mmmm!  I've trained these girls well to be able to eat as much of their pizzookie as possible!  It was crazy to see where everyone is at now in their lives.  Emily has been married for a while and just had a baby.  Becky is married and pregnant with a little boy and Katie has been married and is pregnant with twin girls!  Melanie and I have a lot of ground still left to cover apparently!
It will probably be time for another pizzookie night pretty soon!

Thalia Ellen Croker!

I was finally in town long enough to meet Thalia!

She's such a cutie and just let me hold her all evening!  Sarah is such a cute little mommy!
Aren't they a cute family?  I keep on using cute...but that really is the best word to describe it!
Welcome to the world Thalia!!

We decided to recreate this picture...in a more modest way...

I think we did a pretty good job...

When I Grow Up...

When I grow up, I want to be KP. Here are my reasons:
She travels all over the place.
Owns her own house.
Quilts amazingly!
Has a garden.
Has more tools than any boy I know in Provo.
Boys fall all over her.
Has an awesome job.
Can build things.
Her mom works for the airlines.
Has a cool dollar sign scar on her back.
Has a comfortable bed.
Has guns.
Has great points of view, I trust anything she says.
Is from the Bay Area.
Is going to AFRICA in March.
Snowboards, hikes, slacklines, camps, etc etc etc...
Oh and the list could go on and on!
Who wouldn't want to be Kristen???

Prosper Girls Night!

Rach came into town and we decided that we needed to have a girls night!
Whitney, our cute little RM, was a little late coming....
So we had fun chatting it up before she got there!
When she got there, we revealed some of what we had been talking about...above is her reaction to our scandelous ways!  :)
The tradition is to then play with the Wii.  I'm not very good at it.  I think I stressed myself out a bit....
We had a blast and I hadn't laughed that hard in a long time!  These girls are great!  They are the ones that keep me sane while I'm at work!
Rach celebrating her victory!
Thanks, Trac, for letting us come invade your house again!
Such great friends!!!

Reunited Again!

Christmas time is such a wonderful time for obvious reasons, but another reason is that the girls and I are all in the same area at the same time!  With Rickard on one end of the United States and Carrie on the other side of the world, it isn't very often that we can all get together.  We went out to brunch and had a great time getting caught up with everything in life!  I sure miss these girls!  Good thing I at least have Ashlee in the same state!

New Years!

I got to spend New Years with Lisa and her family this year!  We had a fun little party with a couple families!
Ella, their new dog, fell asleep...that's about how I felt the next morning!  I think I went to bed around four??

I had fun rotating between the adults with their Ticket To Ride game and bugging the kids...they were pretty excited to play with the fireworks!
Yeah, those left a huge mess afterwards...I made Austin and Kyra clean it up the next day...I'm the mean aunt!
Happy 2011!

Christmas!

So, Christmas Eve this year was pretty quiet.  I was still jetlagged from my trip and fell asleep during whatever movie that we put on to watch that night.  Mom wasn't too thrilled at me for doing that because I had fallen asleep the night before at about 7pm as well!
Lyle's family came over after they had Christmas at their place...if twas fun to see all the kids get into opening their Christmas presents!
After they left, we took off and went to see True Grit...I really enjoyed the movie!  It was a nice quiet Christmas this year...but at least it was green!!
We also had a chance to get all these Petaluma kids together to hang out for one night!  It was a lot of fun to get caught up on everyone's lives and love that we are all still friends!

Prague and Vienna

Finally! You get to see pictures from my December trip! This pictures aren't exactly in order of what we did and I doubt that I'll be able to remember everything in order as well! Our arrival was quite interesting. We flew from SLC to Paris. Got into Paris early but sat in the plane for forever and then missed our flight from Paris to Prague! It was crazy trying to get through customs too! But it all worked out and they actually ended up putting us on the same flight as Mary, so it was nice to get there all at the same time!  We got to the hotel that night and just crashed!  I think we were all pretty exhausted.

We did a lot of walking around Prague and seeing the Christmas Markets and went to two operas (Tosca and The Magic Flute) while we were there.  We also went to a string concert which was really cool.

One of the days we took a bus out to Terezen to a concentration camp.  It was the "posh" concentration camp that they were showing off saying things weren't so bad for the Jews!  HA!  It was also where Hitler was building a museum to an "extinct race."  Little did he know.....

On Sunday we went to church in Prague.  It was a really neat experience and I even got to see one of my old co workers there!  After that we jumped on a bus and headed to Vienna.  We got there and dropped our stuff off at the hostil and went downtown and ended up going to a beautiful concert that night!  While we were there we also went and visited the Vienna Palace and took a tour through it.  At night time, the Christmas decorations were breathtaking!  The pictures do not do them justice!  After spending a couple days in Vienna we headed back to Prague via the bus.  We visited a friend of Sherstin's and enjoyed more Christmas Markets.

(Prague.  Funny story here...we went to ice cream at this place and we decided that the four of us would share three ice creams.  So we ordered a nutella sundae, a chocolate sundae and a fruit sundae.  We had an interesting experience with the chocolate sundae...Mary took a bite of it and thought it was great and was going to town on it.  I took a bite and thought it tasted gross, so I started going to town on the nutella sundae.  Sherstin and Ashley took a bite of it and it burned their throats....alcohol of course!  So, Sherstin took it back to the waiter and he got us a new one...minus the alcohol!  We thought it was funny how representative that was of our personalities...)

Something I will always remember about Prague is that the food was not very good. Very greasy and there was always some mystery meat in the morning to eat. Gross. But when we got to Vienna, we were all thrilled to get to eat really good food! All in all, it was a great experience and I will for sure end up going back to Austria to do some more traveling in that country!
